Our unique luminescent round booths





Most weddings and parties will prefer our round booth configuration, it can be color customized, with luminescent (LED lighting). It takes a footprint of 7 feet by 7 feet and rises to 7 feet tall. Background curtains are available in burgundy. Other colors can be ordered optionally to match your theme colors. The 20-inch touch screen monitor is positioned inside the booth, facing the background curtain and another monitor is placed outside the booth for your guests to enjoy what is going on inside…





Keep your memories





Guests receive a duplicate of each photo strip so they can paste it into your photo booth scrapbook (optional service), along with their personal wishes. You may also order a flash drive containing high-resolution originals of every photo taken by your guests. For Video messages we will provide a high resolution memory card.You can use these for high-quality enlargements, posters, coffee mugs, etc.

Photo Booth Scrapbook

BasicFX offers (upon request) a photo scrapbook for your guests to complete during your celebration.

How it works


Your guests emerge from the photo booth with 2 duplicates of their photo strip. Our attendant will guide them to the photo scrapbook table, glue the photo strip onto the scrapbook page and invite your guest to write a personal note of congratulations. By the end of the night your scrapbook will be filled with everyone's photos and wishes -- providing a wonderful keepsake of your event.

 

Your choice!


The scrapbooks are 12 inches by 12 inches, top-loading and feature a screw post binding system. Our scrapbooks come in a variety of styles and colors. Just let us know your preference. We provide everything: glue, extra scrapbook inserts and even colored pens!

Social Media

Upon request BasicFX will amplify the fun of a traditional photo booth with an instant internet connection to social media networks, permitting your guests to have a blast interacting with the photo booth, and then communicating the fun to friends and family around the world by Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, email and cell phone. This advanced technology permits your celebration to go viral even before it's over.


Will BasicFX booths work if my venue does not have internet?


Yes. If your venue has wifi service, we will usually prefer to use it as the primary internet connection. Each booth is equipped with an queue, which in the event your venue does not provide an internet connection will record and save all of the social media uploads until the end of the evening… once BasicFX reaches their home base and connects to the internet then all of your events uploads will immediately upload to the internet.


Mobile Hotspot


Upon request BasicFX can provide a mobile hotspot permitting a stable connection everywhere there is cell phone coverage. If there is a wifi issue we can quickly switch to our independent hotspot. If your venue is out of range of the hotspot, the photo and video service will still function for your guests, but we would upload the images to your gallery after the event.

BasicFX provides a big table of high quality props designed to tap into the nuttiness of all your guests. They'll all have a blast trying on our wide assortment of outrageous wigs, novelty eyewear, crazy hats and fantasy masks. We're constantly adding new props for the enjoyment of our clients. All props are cleaned and disinfected before each event.

Booking Information/Payment Policy/Cancellations

How early do we need to reserve the booth?

Our bookings calendar fills up quickly, especially for weekend celebrations. We recommend booking 3-6 months in advance of your event. As soon as you decide to hire a photo booth we encourage you to book it.


What is your payment policy?


We require a 50% deposit along with a signed service agreement. Payment of balance is due upon commencement of the event.


How do we pay?


We accept checks, credit card and PayPal payments.


What if I need to cancel or change the date?


If you need to change the date of your event we will try to accommodate you, providing we are not already booked for the alternate date. There is no charge for a date change. If you need to cancel your service entirely, there is a $150.00 cancellation fee.


How much time is needed to set up the photo booth?


Approximately one and a half hours.


Do you charge extra to setup the photo booth?


No. Set-up is included in the package price.


How long should I rent the photo booth for?


You will want the photo booth to be available from the beginning to the end of your event in order to accommodate all of your guests. In most cases our clients rent the photo booth for 3 to 4 hours for up to 200 guests.


Can we have the photo booth shut down for an hour during the event?


Considering that our 3 hour package is our most popular, there is usually time to shut down the booth if you have a need to. Your 3 hours start when you have contracted it to start. We can create a custom package based on your specific needs.


Can we use BasicFX to help raise money for our charity, school or church?


Yes. Please call or email us and we can talk to you about ways to do this. We are also open to suggestions. We offer rental discounts for schools, churches and non-profits.


Can we move the photo booth to a different location during the event?


Yes. However, the downtime in moving the photo booth is included in your rental time.

How do BasicFX booths differ from other photo booths?


BasicFX’s photo booths are unique, not your traditional square 2 seated photo booths. Our photo booths are round and LED lit to the color of your choice. Fully customizable to your heart’s content you can choose to wrap our booth with your logo/image/pictures. BasicFX’s booths have 2 big advantages. Unlike old-fashion photo booths, BasicFX takes both photos AND videos and can connect to the internet providing a complete social media instant upload. This gives you the ability to share your celebration with family and friends who were unable to attend via internet.


How many people can fit into the Photo booth?


The photo booth can fit up to 8-10 adults comfortably. Although with a little creativity, many more can be included in the pictures; we've had up to 15 people in the booth at one time!


What is the role of the concierge?


More than a machine, BasicFX offers a service, and key to that service is your professional concierge. BasicFX prides itself with its concierge guaranteed to charm your guests, guiding them into the booth with a few quick pointers on how to interact with the booth and get the maximum fun out of the experience. The concierge will also insure that the booth functions correctly throughout your celebration, change printing paper if required, etc.


How will my guests make photos and videos?


With our intuitive touch screen, nothing could be easier -- even technophobes and the elderly among your guests will find it easy to have fun in our booths. It's as easy as touching the "Take photos" or "Record video" icon on the giant monitor screen. If “Take Photos” is selected, a series of 4 photos will be taken and at the end, the guest can print photo strips and if requested share the photos via Facebook, Twitter, Email, or Text! If “Record Video” is selected, the guest can record a video message to the guest of honor. The video message can then be shared via Facebook, Twitter, Email or Text!


Can we supply our own props?


Yes. BasicFX includes South Florida’s BEST props some directly from Vegas. BasicFX also encourages you to bring along any special props that your guests may enjoy taking pictures with. Props that suggest inside jokes are always fun to build your pictures with.


Are the photos of high quality?


Yes. BasicFX uses a high-resolution 10 megapixel digital camera. You get the highest quality color photos, featuring sharp focus and vibrant natural tones. All prints have a glossy finish and will last a lifetime.


Will the photos fade over time?


The quality printer and paper that we use lessen the possibility of fading. According to the manufacturer of our printer, prints are "expected to last 100 years under proper conditions."


What if we lose a print?


Upon request there are several ways to replace images. A copy of every picture taken is put in your scrapbook 9if requested). You will be given the option of ordering a flash/memory drive/card of all your pictures and videos, in high-resolution format, handed to you at the end of your event.


What exactly is the Scrapbook offered?


Our scrapbook is for you to enjoy forever. At the end of the event we will give the book to you. It will be filled with photo strips taken at your party. Roughly 4-5 photos and 4-5 hand written messages will fill the front and back of each page. So the book will provide for about 150 photos and 150 personalized messages. We will guide each guest to fill out the book. We will provide everything necessary for them.


How big is the booth?


The photo booth is about 5 feet wide x 5 feet long and 7 feet tall. (Not including prop table 6 ft.)
Is the photo booth wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our booths are designed for everyone! The entrance to the photo booth is more than sufficient to accommodate any wheelchair or special needs situation.

What is the advantage of video for BasicFX photo booths?

Video permits your guests to make personalized messages or congratulations or "toasts" of up to 15 seconds. The voices of your precious friends and family will be captured for all time. This allows your videographer to concentrate on the fun things. No more interruption from a microphone being passed around the tables!

How can corporate events use BasicFX’s video feature?

When used for corporate events, the video feature can allow customers to record spontaneous testimonials about your product or service. These videos are then yours to use on your company's website, e-newsletters, etc.

What areas do you service?

BasicFX of South Florida offers service throughout South Florida, from West Palm Beach to Homestead. We also offer service to weddings and events out of these areas, with a supplement for travel.

How much do you charge? Per Hour? Per Event?

BasicFX offers several all-inclusive service plans, with prices based on rental time and included features. We can also offer a custom solution according to your specific needs. We can provide you with a specialized quote for your event.

Will BasicFX booths work if my venue does not have internet?

How fast do the photos print out?

The printer will start printing immediately after a session ends. It takes about 10-30 seconds to print your photo strip.

Will you publish our photos on the internet?

Upon request we can publish your event photos and videos on a secure website, to be assigned. The photo gallery for your event can be password protected. Your gallery remains on the site for varying durations, according to the service plan you select.

Can we personalize the prints?

Yes. You have the option of adding text to the prints (such as your event name) a logo or we can make you a customized layout. You may also add a logo with a date or other special information. We will go over this with you before the event and act upon your approval.

Do we get unlimited photos and videos?

Yes. With every package the "fun" is unlimited. Bear in mind time restraints however. If the photo booth is completely occupied during one whole hour (which there is a good chance of), you will get approximately 45 sessions during that hour. This includes the time that it takes for people to enter the booth, take their photos, record their video messages, and exit the booth.

Can we regulate how often people visit the photo booth?

Yes. We will have to come up with a plan with you before the event if you think that may be a problem. This is commonly considered when lots of kids are at an event, as they tend to use the photo booth a lot. Mind you, this is okay by us, but if you think it may be a problem then we can implement a "ticket" plan or something of the sort, that way all the adults will get a fair shot at the fun!

Are there limitations as to where the photo booth can be set up?

No! Ideally we would like to be right next to a power outlet. We will get together with your contact person at your venue and pick the best location. Ideally, we like to set up just outside your event room. This will lower the ambient noise levels and improve the sound on video recordings.
